How To Make Air Fryer Filet Mignon

Get the steaks to room temperature, which should take about 15 to 20 minutes. The steaks are seasoned after being rubbed with olive oil and steak seasoning.   

If your air fryer does not have a dedicated preheat button, set it to the air fryer setting and let it run for three to five minutes at that temperature. The steaks should be added and cooked for 5 minutes on each side.

Before taking steaks out of the oven, make sure they've reached the desired temperature. Medium-rare, or 135 degrees Fahrenheit, is how I like my filet mignons. The steaks need a few minutes of rest time before being served.

  • Two Prime Ribeye Steaks
  • The equivalent of 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Two to four teaspoons of steak seasoning
  • Compound Butter, Which Is Optional
    1. First, spend 15 to 20 minutes bringing the steaks to room temperature. Steaks are ready after being seasoned with olive oil and steak seasoning and then rubbed with olive oil.   
    2. Set the air fryer temperature to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Air fryers typically have a preheat setting, but if yours doesn't, you can get the same results by running it at 400 degrees F for three to five minutes. Cook the steaks for about 5 minutes on each side.
    3. You should take the steaks' internal temperature before taking them off the grill. I suggest serving filet mignons at about 135 degrees Fahrenheit for a medium-rare doneness. You should wait a few minutes before serving the steaks.
    4. Put it on a plate, have some fun, and eat it
